Ghida Husseini

Staff Care and Resilience Clinician

Ghida Husseini serves as a Staff Care and Resilience Clinician at the KonTerra Group, consulting for international organizations supporting humanitarian workers and their families on issues related to stress, trauma, resilience, and adjustment difficulties.

She specializes in individual and group therapy and works with Arabic, English and French speaking children, adolescents, and adults.

Ghida’s interest grew in supporting individuals and staff working in the humanitarian field and their families since growing up in a conflict affected country.

Having been herself a humanitarian worker, she provides psychological support to individuals and groups living or working in conflict zones and trains international aid workers and journalists on building their resilience.

Ghida earned her French Baccalaureate in Lebanon. She pursued her education in linguistics at University of Montreal in Canada and her master’s in counseling (MA) from Webster University in Geneva Switzerland. She is a Certified Canadian counselor.

When she is not working, she is busy making pottery and cement pots, propagates cactus and succulents and makes decorative candles.
