We recognize that many people inside the United States — including people of color, immigrants, non-citizens, and others who feel directly impacted by the current political climate — are experiencing heightened stress, uncertainty, and fear.
For over 20 years, KonTerra has supported staff and organizations working in high-threat, insecure, and rapidly changing environments around the world. Over time we have developed many resources to support humanitarian workers, aid professionals, and communities navigating conflict, instability, or political upheaval in international contexts.
While the U.S. context is different in important ways, we are hearing from individuals and partners that aspects of these experiences — such as living with chronic uncertainty, fear of policy shifts, identity-based threats, and moral distress — feel relevant right now. We are therefore making a selection of our crisis resources directly available on this page.
Not every resource will apply to every situation. We encourage you to use what feels helpful, adapt what resonates, and set aside what does not fit your experience. You can visit our full staff care library here to browse for other resources or translations in additional languages.
The KonTerra Group specializes in staff care, organizational resilience, and evaluation services to enhance well being and improve performance for those working in high-stress environments or roles.
