NEW! Wednesday, July 9, 2025 (8:00-9:00am EDT): PROCESSING THE IMPACT: SUPPORTING TWEENS/TEENS IN TIMES OF CHANGE
Adolescents are already navigating one of life’s most complex developmental stages—and now many USAID teens are doing so amid sudden family transitions, disrupted futures, and the emotional impact of watching their parents lose jobs or leave overseas posts. This session offers a space for parents to reflect on how these shifts affect their tweens & teens, how to recognize signs of stress or distress, and how to stay grounded as a supportive presence. We’ll explore practical tools for communication, emotional regulation, and creating a sense of safety—when so much feels uncertain.
This session is open to all current and former USAID personnel; all hiring mechanisms welcome.
This session is offered by The KonTerra Group under the auspices of the Aid Transition Alliance and is not affiliated with USAID.

NEW! Wednesday, July 16, 2025 (8:00-9:00am EDT): PROCESSING THE IMPACT: FINDING MEANING AND PURPOSE DURING SIGNIFICANT LOSS
For many USAID staff, public service has been more than a job—it has been a calling, a source of identity, and a deep well of meaning. As this chapter ends, many are left asking: Who am I now? What matters next?
This session offers space to acknowledge losses –and to begin gently exploring what meaning can look like on the other side. Through guided reflection and shared conversation, we’ll consider how to carry forward what endures, let go of what no longer fits, and imagine new ways to live with purpose even when the path ahead feels unclear.
This session is open to all current and former USAID personnel; all hiring mechanisms welcome.

NEW! Wednesday, July 23, 2025 (8:00-9:00am EDT): PROCESSING THE IMPACT: CREATING RITUALS TO RECOGNIZE CONTRIBUTION, HONOR LOSS, AND USE NONVERBAL FORMS FOR EXPRESSION
As USAID staff navigate the painful realities of widespread job loss, many are grappling with how to mark the end of their service—how to honor the impact they’ve made, grieve what’s been lost, and acknowledge what remains unspoken. This webinar offers a reflective space to explore personal and collective rituals that recognize contribution and hold space for loss. We will invite participants to consider nonverbal and cross-cultural forms of expression—movement, music, art, nature, and silence—as powerful ways to process this moment and begin to shape meaning beyond words.
This session is open to all current and former USAID personnel; all hiring mechanisms welcome.

What is the Aid Transition Alliance? Senior women leaders came together in February 2025 to establish an emergency project to support all USAID staff. The project focuses on communication campaigns around the value of humanitarian and development assistance, crisis interventions for mental health and wellness, career transition support, and capturing decades of international development knowledge and expertise. With the support and fiscal sponsorship of Forward Global Philanthropy, the Aid Transition Alliance (ATA) project launched in April 2025.
